Local Culture Creative is hiring an Account Executive to sell for our agency. This role covers digital, print, social, sponsorship, and experiential marketing for local businesses across our markets.
We need someone who can already get a meeting on the books. You'll learn our products, our clients, and our market once you're here, but the ability to prospect and book qualified meetings has to walk in the door with you. This is not an entry-level sales job.
Local Culture Creative is a full-service marketing agency building social media and content strategy, advertising, web design, programmatic, and streaming TV campaigns for local businesses.
This is a remote position based in Orlando. You'll need to be local for client meetings and events.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Booking meetings. This is the job. You'll be making outbound calls, building your own pipeline, and getting in front of decision-makers consistently. If you can't generate your own meetings, this role isn't for you. We'll help you close, but we need you to open the door.
Running the sales cycle. From first conversation to signed contract: needs analysis, proposal, negotiation, close.
Learning our products. Digital, print, social, sponsorship, streaming, experiential. You don't need to be an expert on day one, but you need to want to understand how each of these actually works for a client.
Managing your book. Once a client signs, you keep them happy, keep them paying on time, and keep growing the account.
Staying sharp on the market. Know what's happening in Orlando, know your competitors, and bring us new business leads before we ask for them.
What We're Looking For
2+ years of business development experience with a track record of self-sourcing meetings. This is the top priority. Tell us how you've built pipeline from scratch, not just how you've managed one that was handed to you.
Real curiosity about marketing. You don't need a marketing degree, but you should genuinely find social media, influencer campaigns, programmatic advertising, or print interesting. People who care about the product sell it better than people who just sell.
Agency or advertising sales experience is a plus, not a requirement, if your BD skills are strong.
Comfortable with a high volume of outbound activity and un-bothered by rejection.
Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
Organized enough to manage your own pipeline without someone chasing you for updates.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred, not required.
Compensation & Benefits
$100,000 OTE (on-target earnings, based on hitting sales targets), with a competitive base plus commission.
